SPLÆSA // SPLICE

The old netting factory, Neskaupsstaður 17th of July - 15th of August

The group exhibition SPLICE, located in the old netting factory in Neskaupstaður, is an ode to various doings, related to the ocean, whether it’s physical work meant for the making of capital goods or ideas and inspiration that the ocean grants us within banality. In the exhibition, there are chosen older works among new works in which the artists respond to the distinctive space that the old netting factory is and its ideological context. The artists that will exhibit works are Arnar Ásgeirsson, Daníel Ágúst Ágústsson, Elísabet Brynhildardóttir, Erling T.V Klingenberg (in collaboration with Aðalsteinn Stefánsson), Gunnar Jónsson and Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir.
